About
Percival Participations is a private investment company based on Westplein in Rotterdam. It puts growth capital into Dutch companies and states that its investments run from about one hundred thousand euros to ten million, paid out against agreed milestones. It backs two kinds of business: start-ups and scale-ups whose technology is patented or can be protected, and profitable established companies with a solid market position. Its stated preference is for tangible products rather than software, in sectors it calls traditional, and it names chemicals, electronics, industry, infrastructure, energy, medical devices, food production and education as examples. Besides money it offers the companies it holds a stake in temporary access to its own specialists in areas such as sales, strategic marketing, digital systems, finance, deal making and contracting, and human resources, and it says an interim management role is possible. It also introduces those companies to customers, suppliers and partners from its network. Businesses approach it through separate intake routes for start-ups and scale-ups, for profitable companies, and for intermediaries submitting a proposal for a client.
