About
Phase2.earth is a privately funded investment company in the Netherlands. Its about page says it began in January 2021, started by people who had spent decades running Novamedia and the Dutch charity lotteries, and that the name is credited to Professor Yunus. It backs start-ups and scale-ups that pair a social or environmental purpose with an ordinary commercial business plan, and it says it contributes the operating knowledge of the people behind it as well as capital. It lists seven values that describe what it looks for: impact tied to the Sustainable Development Goals, margins that can be sustained, satisfied customers, a distinct brand, a product or technology that is hard to copy through patents, unique processes or accumulated know-how, a capable founding team, and disciplined finance with clear governance and reporting. Entrepreneurs who think they match are asked to send a pitch deck or use the form on its contact page.
