Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. About
Promovendi Netwerk Nederland is the national organisation representing PhD candidates in the Netherlands. It works on the conditions PhD candidates carry out their research under, including contracts, supervision, workload and wellbeing, and represents them in national discussion about the PhD system. PNN states that more than 40 percent of PhD candidates in the Netherlands are international, and it maintains English-language material aimed at the questions that group runs into, from scholarship and sandwich arrangements to finding the right support channel inside an institution.
What they offer
Good to know
- PNN represents PhD candidates at system level rather than handling individual cases. It does not give legally binding advice or act as your representative, and its own material points candidates towards PhD councils, confidential advisers, labour unions and national contact points.
- Part of PNN's news and publications is published in Dutch, although its knowledge base and its material for international PhD candidates are available in English.
