PsyQ is a mental health care brand operated as a partnership between two Dutch care institutions. It provides specialist treatment for people whose general practitioner has referred them. Its published fields of treatment are anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, trauma and post traumatic stress, eating disorders, personality disorders, sexual problems and gender dysphoria, persistent physical complaints, and transcultural psychiatry. Treatment happens at its sites in several parts of the Netherlands, and a separate online service delivers a complete treatment remotely for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety and trauma. Registration starts when a general practitioner sends a complete referral letter through the national referral system, and it says it reports back on the next step within two weeks. It states that treatment is paid for through the Dutch basic health insurance and that the annual own risk applies. It also states that intakes and treatments are given in Dutch, and that when another language is needed this normally happens through an interpreter. A general information line answers questions about symptoms, treatment options, registration and referral.
