Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. More about where our information comes from

For someone who moves to a village or a smaller town in Groningen or Drenthe, this is the body behind the hub taxi and the community buses that reach places the regular bus does not. It is also the address for a complaint about one of those journeys.

About

Publiek Vervoer Groningen Drenthe is a public cooperation organisation in the north of the Netherlands. Its own pages describe it as a cooperation with all the municipalities in Groningen and Drenthe and with OV-bureau Groningen Drenthe, and its board is made up of one alderman for each of seven municipal regions, together with the director of OV-bureau Groningen Drenthe. The team is accountable to those commissioning authorities. The organisation does not drive the vehicles. It arranges and monitors contracts with the carriers that do, across five kinds of transport that it names as Wmo transport, pupil transport, the hub taxi, community buses and city transport. For travellers it publishes information on each of these, an overview of which carrier operates in which part of the region, and a route for compliments and complaints. For the participating authorities it publishes annual accounts and multi-year budgets, handles requests for research data, and answers requests under the Dutch open government act. Its office is in Assen, and the stated aim of the cooperating authorities is a transport network for Groningen and Drenthe that stays affordable.
