Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
Its English pages explain how to pay with a bank card, how to take a season ticket for a route travelled daily, and where the staffed service points are, so a ticket question can be asked in person rather than online. The job pages are in Dutch only.
About
Qbuzz is a Dutch bus company registered as Qbuzz B.V., with its office at Piet Mondriaanplein in Amersfoort and the Chamber of Commerce number 32134138. It runs public transport in five areas that its own privacy statement lists: Drechtsteden with Molenlanden and Gorinchem, Fryslan, Groningen and Drenthe, Utrecht under the U-OV name, and Zuid-Holland Noord. It is a transport company rather than a transport authority: everything on its site is about travelling, tickets and customer service. Passengers can pay with a bank card through OVpay or take a season ticket for a fixed route. Alongside the scheduled buses it runs separately named services with their own telephone numbers, flexBuzz, the Opstapper, BestelBuzz and the Door Stop Taxi. It staffs service points at the bus or railway stations in Groningen, Emmen, Leeuwarden, Heerenveen, Leiden, Gouda, Alphen aan den Rijn and Dordrecht, plus a mobile service point in Fryslan.
What they offer
- Scheduled bus services under regional contracts in five areas of the Netherlands
- Ticketing through OVpay, paying with a bank card, and a season ticket for a fixed route
- Named additional services flexBuzz, the Opstapper, BestelBuzz and the Door Stop Taxi
- Business travel arrangements for employers
Good to know
- It operates under contract and does not decide the network. The commissioning authorities are separate bodies.
- It runs in five areas only, so its buses do not cover the whole country.
- Its job pages are published in Dutch only.
