About
RefugeeWork is an online job platform in the Netherlands, run by Refugee Talent Hub, which calls it its own platform and whose domain carries the contact address the site publishes. There are two kinds of account. A job seeker with a refugee background makes a profile setting out who they are, what they have done and what they are looking for, looks through jobs near them, and applies by answering the questions attached to a posting. An employer registers the organisation, adds a company profile and office locations, and advertises roles written to be clear for newcomers. The privacy statement sets out what happens next, which matters to anybody deciding whether to sign up: on applying, the person's profile goes to that employer straight away, including residence status, Dutch and English level, education, work experience, skills, their own description of themselves and their written answers, while their telephone number and email address follow only once the employer has accepted the application. The site also publishes preparation material for both sides: tips for a first job interview gathered from newcomers, and a checklist of what to do and avoid for employers interviewing them.

- Applying needs an account, and your profile including residence status and language levels reaches the employer as soon as you apply.
