Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
Aimed at the problem that private rental listings in Dutch cities sit on many separate websites and are taken quickly. RentSlam does not let property itself, so viewings and the tenancy are arranged with whoever published the listing.
About
RentSlam sells a subscription to a rental search tool for the private rental market in the Netherlands. It describes itself as a software company rather than a letting agency, and states that it charges no commission or agency fee when a subscriber rents a home. The alert service is available only on a paid monthly plan. Subscribers create up to four search profiles at a time, choosing cities and neighbourhoods or a maximum travel distance, a budget, the number of bedrooms, and details such as searching as a student or searching together with someone else. Scanning of rental listing sites runs continuously, and a new listing that matches a profile reaches the subscriber by email or through the app within about thirty seconds. A web app keeps listings, notifications and viewing appointments in one place and supplies prepared reply messages, so a user can answer a landlord or agent quickly. The company says it started in 2015 out of frustration with renting in Amsterdam and then extended to Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and the rest of the country. The site is published in Dutch and English, and its Amsterdam office receives visitors by appointment only.
Good to know

- A search and alert service rather than a letting agency. It does not own the listings, decide who a landlord accepts, or guarantee a home.
