Study in NL is the information website that Nuffic, the Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education, publishes for people outside the Netherlands who are considering studying here. Nuffic is the organisation; Study in NL is the site it runs for prospective students, and its contact address and telephone number are Nuffic's office in The Hague. The site is built around the questions people ask before they arrive. It holds a searchable database of the English-taught programmes offered in the country, explains admission requirements and how to apply, sets out how to pay for a degree and where to look for a scholarship, and advises applicants to start looking for a room early because rooms are scarce. It publishes a checklist of the steps to take and background on the Dutch higher education system. It also points readers to Nuffic Regional Offices abroad, which give the same information in person and run pre-departure briefings, and to the Dutch scientific institutes in Athens, Florence, Rome and Rabat.

- Study in NL publishes information; it is not an education institution and does not assess applications. Admission decisions are made by the university or university of applied sciences you apply to.
- It is written for people preparing to study in the Netherlands from abroad. Nuffic's separate services for diploma recognition and for institutions are not delivered through this website.
- Residence permit and visa decisions rest with the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, usually through the education institution acting as sponsor, not with this site or with Nuffic.
