Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Two of its main products exist only because someone moved country: the migration return for the year you arrived or left, and advice on the thirty percent ruling.

About

TaxSavers is a commercial tax advice company with an office in Amstelveen, next to Amsterdam. Clients pay it to prepare, discuss and file their Dutch tax returns. For private individuals it files the annual income tax return and the migration return, which is the form required for a year in which you did not live in the Netherlands for the whole year. For freelancers and self-employed people it files the quarterly value added tax return and the declaration required when a business trades with other European Union countries. It also advises on the thirty percent ruling, the arrangement that lets an employer pay part of the salary of an employee recruited from abroad without tax, as compensation for extra costs. The company asks each client for an authorisation so it can see what the tax administration holds on file, goes through the return with the client before submitting it, and afterwards checks the assessment that comes back. Its stated aim is that clients understand the return well enough to file it themselves in later, simpler years. Everything can be done remotely.

What they offer

  • Annual Dutch income tax return for private individuals
  • Migration tax return for a year in which you did not live here the whole year
  • Value added tax return and intra-EU declaration for self-employed people
  • Advice on the thirty percent ruling
  • Personal tax advice conversation on a changing situation

Good to know

  • A paid commercial service. Prices are quoted per situation rather than published, so ask before the work starts.
  • It acts on your authorisation to see your tax records. Understand what that authorisation covers before granting it.
  • It prepares and files. The tax administration still assesses the return and decides on the thirty percent ruling.
