About
ThisWorks sells employer of record services from an office at Kerkenbos in Nijmegen. Its paying customer is the hiring company rather than the person being hired. When a business wants staff in a country where it has no registered entity, ThisWorks becomes the legal employer of those staff: it issues the employment contract, runs onboarding, pays salaries, handles wage tax and local employment law, arranges benefits, insurance and terminations, and invoices the client for the whole package. It markets the same service across five markets, with separate country pages for the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland and Spain. Two lines sit beside the core service. It states that it is an officially recognised sponsor in the Netherlands, which it says lets it apply for work permits and provide visa sponsorship for employees hired from abroad. It also offers entity setup, so a client that decides to register its own company in Europe or the UK can arrange that through the same firm. Its staff work in Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Indonesian and Polish.
