Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
It names the barriers it works with directly, language, unrecognised foreign qualifications and a career interrupted by moving country, and uses starting a small business as the practical way past them.
About
The International Entrepreneurs Collective, which uses the short name TIEC, is based in Eindhoven. It calls itself a project-based organisation rather than a service with a fixed offer: it designs, coordinates and delivers funded projects, each one time limited and shaped around a particular local situation, in partnership with public institutions, cultural organisations and educational bodies. Its subject is entrepreneurship as a way into economic participation for people whose access to ordinary employment is limited, and it names the conditions it works with directly: language barriers, qualifications earned abroad that are not recognised here, and careers interrupted by moving country. Its projects sit between business, culture and international participation. They include a winter market in Eindhoven where international and Dutch entrepreneurs work together, a citywide programme built around making and craft, a collaboration lab, a community for owners of very small businesses, and a step by step programme for women moving into self-employment. It also works as a design or delivery partner for institutions that need to turn a policy goal or a funding framework into something concrete. It was set up by two entrepreneurs who came to the Netherlands from other countries.
