Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
The outplacement side is built around what redundancy means for a highly skilled migrant specifically, including how unemployment benefit and the permit search period work.
About
Together Abroad is a privately run career services business with its place of business at the World Trade Center in The Hague, where visits are by appointment, and the Chamber of Commerce number 27339531. Its customers are people who do not speak Dutch and are looking for work here: expats, highly skilled migrants, executives and candidates from outside the EU. There are two ways the work is paid for. Individuals buy fixed career programmes directly, and employers buy outplacement support for staff they are making redundant, which the site describes as part of a severance package. The outplacement service covers handling of the dismissal, applying for unemployment benefit, questions about staying in the country and about a permanent residence permit, orientation on the labour market, job hunting carried out on the client's behalf, and aftercare. Separate paid services cover one-to-one consultations, review of a CV or cover letter, rewriting a LinkedIn profile, and job interview training. It also operates a job board and offers employers a CV database and payroll services.
What they offer
- CV and cover letter review, LinkedIn profile assistance and job interview training
- Job board with vacancies in English and other languages
- CV database access and payroll services for employers of highly skilled migrants
Programmes
- Partner and Spouse Career Support Programme
For partners of highly skilled migrants who moved to the Netherlands with them.
Good to know
- A commercial provider. Its programmes are paid, and they do not guarantee employment or an immigration outcome.
- Its base is The Hague, not Amsterdam, and visits are by appointment.
- The hiring success rate advertised on its site is the company's own claim.
