About
UtrechtInc is a startup incubator in the Vening Meinesz Building C at Princetonlaan 6 on Utrecht Science Park. Its about page states that it was founded in 2009 as a not-for-profit organisation by the joint knowledge institutes of Utrecht, and it names Utrecht University, Hogeschool Utrecht, UMC Utrecht, the Wilhelmina children's hospital, the Princess Maxima Center and the Hubrecht Institute as the institutions it works with. Its programmes run from the idea stage through validation to scaling, with separate validation tracks for technology, science, life science and student ventures. Its sector focus is health, education, sustainability and artificial intelligence. Around the programmes it puts a mentor network, free consultations with professionals, and matchmaking events with investors and launching customers. The building holds coworking desks, private startup offices and meeting rooms, open both to programme members and to independent founders, and a monthly open afternoon called Meet UtrechtInc lets anyone come and see what an incubator does.

Good to know
- Guidance on residence permits and the Dutch startup visa is given only to startups already accepted into a programme, already operating in the Netherlands, and connected to Utrecht Science Park or the wider Utrecht region. Everyone else is referred to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency or the IND.
- Programme places are applied for, and The Foundership is a paid membership.
