Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
A fit for working newcomers whose own income meets a listing's requirement, not for students. Search and register directly on its site, where registration is free: its FAQ warns that other sites repeating its listings may charge fees and show homes that are no longer available.
About
Vesteda describes itself as a Dutch residential investor and landlord. It focuses mainly on mid-market rental homes for middle-income tenants, which it has offered since 1998, and its homes are spread across the Netherlands, with a head office in Amsterdam. The homes are held in the Vesteda Residential Fund, which is managed by Vesteda Investment Management B.V. and invests on behalf of institutional investors, mainly pension funds and insurers. Property management is done in-house. Available homes are listed on its website, and it says it does not use waiting lists. Registration is free: you create an account on its Huren bij Vesteda site, register for specific homes and request a viewing. Candidates are scored on criteria including the minimum income shown on each listing, readiness to move in, a complete file and whether the household fits the home, with a lottery between equal scores. Some homes give priority to groups such as key workers or people leaving a social rental home, under rules set by the municipality. Its FAQ says it does not rent to students or accept guarantors such as parents, and that it verifies identity online through iDIN, a Dutch bank service. Client information and listings are available in English.
What they offer
Good to know
- It does not rent to students and does not accept guarantors or sponsors such as parents, so the tenant must meet the income requirement.
- Every home has a minimum income requirement, and applicants who do not meet it are rejected automatically.
- Its homes are mainly mid-rent, and its site says rent allowance cannot be received for a mid-rent home.
- Identity is checked through iDIN, a Dutch bank service, and the My Vesteda tenant portal is in Dutch.
- Registering does not guarantee a viewing, and applicants who are not selected do not receive a reply.
