About
VNO-NCW Noord is the northern regional branch of the Dutch employers' organisation. Its website is shared with two partner bodies for smaller businesses and for younger entrepreneurs, and the site title covers all three. It describes itself as the business network of the north of the Netherlands, built on personal membership by individual entrepreneurs and directors rather than only on company membership, and its stated purpose is to work towards a good business climate in the region. The organisation works through themes and theme groups. The themes it lists are labour market and development, green growth, infrastructure and mobility, resilience, entrepreneurship, digitalisation, and social and vital enterprise. Around these it runs events, publishes positions and connects members to each other and to regional and national government.
