Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Its Basecamp Europe programme is built for impact founders who want to launch in Europe and includes a course on the startup visa process together with Dutch startup visa facilitation, so it is usable by somebody planning to come here to start a business rather than take a job.

About

We Are Changemakers is an incubator that works mainly online. Its about page states that it is operated by the We Are Changemakers Foundation in The Hague and that visitors can meet it at a co-working office in the city. It describes itself as a partner of ImpactCity The Hague, says it works with fellows in other countries and names Kathmandu, Bandung, Accra and Valencia, and says it is a partner in an alliance together with its fellows in Nepal. The incubator is aimed at people starting or growing what it calls positive impact companies, meaning businesses that weigh the social and environmental costs of what they sell against the value they create. Somebody can start as a guest and then take a paid membership, which gives access to self paced online courses, group training, mentoring, events and a peer group. Alongside the general membership it runs structured programmes. Basecamp Europe is for impact founders who want to launch their company in Europe and includes a course on the startup visa process, Dutch startup visa facilitation, mentoring and twelve months of support. A second programme is called Women with Impact. An affiliated agency carries out design and facilitation work.

Good to know

  • Beyond guest access the membership and the programmes are paid.
  • It works mainly online. The foundation and its co-working base are in The Hague, but the incubator itself is not a place you attend.
  • Its site offers startup visa facilitation in its own words. The permit decision rests with the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, and nothing read states that the organisation appears on any official facilitator list.
