Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

Tenants who need help with paperwork, arrears, debts or with reading and writing are pointed to volunteers of Humanitas Friesland, which works independently of the landlord.

About

WoonFriesland is a social housing landlord in the province of Fryslan. It calls itself the social rental company of Friesland rather than using the words housing corporation. Its legal entity is Stichting WoonFriesland, with its statutory seat in the municipality of Leeuwarden, its office in Grou and the Chamber of Commerce number 01031925. It works in sixteen Frisian municipalities, in the cities, in the countryside and on the Wadden islands, and says it does so together with residents, residents' organisations, those municipalities, the province, welfare and care organisations and chain partners. Its three stated themes are expanding the housing stock, making homes more sustainable at a price tenants can afford, and neighbourhood liveability. Most tenant business runs through an online account where a tenant can submit a repair request, pay rent and outstanding amounts, see the tenancy contract, the official valuation of the home and how the rent is built up, report a change in their living situation, request an adaptation, end the tenancy and change contact details. Contracts are emailed and signed digitally.

  • Everything read on the site is in Dutch, and no page describes service in English.
