About
Xelvin is a technical secondment company that began seconding technicians in 2006 and now describes itself as a specialist in international recruitment. Its privacy statement names Xelvin Management B.V. and its group companies. It places engineers and technicians, both starters and experienced specialists, in construction and infrastructure, energy and networks, food and chemicals, high tech, installation technology, IT, laboratory technology, maritime and offshore, and industry. A new hire usually signs a two-year contract with Xelvin and works at a client, with a permanent job at that client as the aim. Its English site, xelvin.com, is aimed at engineers from abroad: its relocation team helps with the flight, housing and documents, and it supports international hires with the visa appointment, BSN and municipal registration, health insurance and a bank account. For candidates from outside the EU it says it helps apply for the long-stay visa (MVV) and residence permit, and a 2022 article on its site says Xelvin is an IND sponsor that can carry out the IND procedure itself. Xelvin has offices across the Netherlands.
