YER is a recruitment and secondment company, founded in 1987 as Young Executive Recruitment, that works with professionals holding a bachelor's, master's or PhD degree. Its website belongs to YER Nederland B.V. in Amsterdam, and its privacy statement also names the subsidiaries YER Professionals B.V. and YER Engineering B.V. It seconds professionals employed on a permanent contract at YER to client organisations, recruits for permanent and interim roles in which the client becomes the employer, arranges temp-to-perm and freelance assignments, and runs traineeships in which trainees are employed by YER. Its fields are engineering, IT, finance, and public-sector work in spatial planning and social services. The site has an English section with an English vacancy list in which many roles are written in English. YER has ten offices across the Netherlands and also works in Belgium, Germany and the United States.
